During the afternoon of May 18th, the U.S. Silicon Valley Delegation held a conference with Shijiazhuang government officials. Rui Bin Sun, secretary of Shijiazhuang Municipal Committee of the CPC welcomed the U.S. Silicon Valley Delegation. He said, “Hebei province really needs Silicon Valley's advanced technology and qualified technical personnel. It will have a significant impact for the development of Hebei province, if the technical projects from Silicon Valley can be readily applied in Hebei.

On the morning of May 18th, the matching negotiation conference between Hengshui, Hebei Province and the U.S. Silicon Valley Delegation was held at the Wanda Jiahua Hotel. Shen Xiao Ping, vice governor of Hebei Province attended this meeting. He said, “Silicon Valley is the most important high-tech industry base in this world. We hope the U.S. Silicon Valley Delegation will take this opportunity to know more about Hengshui and Hebei Province. There are a lot of business opportunities, entrepreneurial inspiration and entrepreneurial spaces here.”

In mid-May, a delegation from California’s Silicon Valley visited mainland China. The delegation was led by Mr. Wang Yang, Chairman of the China Silicon Valley Organization. The group attended the “China (Lang Fang) International Economic & Trade Fair 2015,” conferences and other activities in Hebei Province, Tianjin, Beijing and Shenzhen. The eight-day trip China trip lasted from May 17th to May 24th.
